A little late

It has taken me some time but I finally found time to post Dante's 2 year pictures.

Trick or Treat!

This was the first year that Dante really understood what trick or treating was all about. It seemed magical for him as he held out his bag and people put candy in it. He was really getting into it. Jack Henry joined us and the boys had a great time. Both did really well in their costumes and made a very cute pair.

Punkins!

Dante and I spent the day with friends at the pumpkin patch yesterday. He had a really great time. He loved the tractors, donkey's, pumpkins but most of all he loved painting his pumpkin. He could have easily sat there all day painting pumpkins, he put a lot of thought into what he was doing. He was a little shorted on his nap but was a little trooper and hung in there for me all day. I realize that I am a little behind on his blog and will try to get his 2 yr. pictures up soon!

Well Jason and I have survived 2 years, yeaaaahhhh parents! Truly the past 2 years haven't been bad, we were really lucky to have a super easy kid. Do I hear some people out there cursing us???? Oh, don't worry... as Celine Dion says, "It's all coming back to me (us) now". Terrible two's have seem to hit exactly on time. It's like there was a switch that was turned on. Every day there HAS to be a tantrum about something, doesn't really matter what, there has to be a tantrum. Here are some shots of the birthday party (the calm before the storm).

Fun in the Sun

Here a few pictures from about a month ago. This is one of Dante's blow up pools. I went to a lot of work brining warm water from inside the house since it didn't have time to warm up only to have him refuse to get in. He was happy to just play with his toys while standing outside the pool. Oh well!

Mixin' it up

Naomi was brave enough to let Dante help with the baking tonight. I have to say that he didn't do too bad. He is a big fan of sugar butter.

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9

While Dante knows that the counting generally starts at 1, if you start him off there he considers it out of the way and it's his turn to say 2. After that he can go pretty strong, 7 and 10 trip him up a little and we are still learning 10 on up. Here is a little video of Dante's counting skills as well as a good look up his nose. I am including the pictures of the package Dante got today. Grandma sent him some clothes and he HAD to put them all on at once so if it looks like he's gained some weight it's because he has 4 shirts on. This past week Naomi and I went shoe shopping and it rubbed off on Dante because he has been obsessed with shoes for the past week and thinks all shoes are for him. He was quite delighted that there were shoes in the package too. We will have to hide them for a little bit since they are too big but he had to have them on as well.
